ADDICTIONS/ CRAVINGS IN CHILDREN

Take Charge of Your Precious Child’s Health

Wrong Food Choices Can Pollute Your Child’s Energy levels!

--

In growing years and during early childhood, children tend to create cravings for unhealthy food and eatables. It can be your child too! And those cravings can become increasingly popular among your child’s taste buds.

And, as a result, your child may seek stimulation!

But how long will that Stimulation Last?

Two hours, four hours, or a little more, and then he craves it again. This vicious cycle continues endlessly. Until you take some solid actions seriously, this will happen.

What’s the point?

It’s important to stop it, or else it will pollute his body — both physically and energetically.

I am talking about your child being addicted to unhealthy substances. Or you might be feeding him a healthy diet in an excessive manner, which can also cause an indirect addiction and is risky for healthy growth.

Here is why!

Excessive consumption of chocolate, ice cream, and candies, particularly in unhygienic conditions, can lead to the development of worms in children’s stomachs. This can cause an increased craving for sugary foods. As a result, children may develop an addictive pattern of eating.

I know there are treatments available for pinworms, hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. However, consider the significant suffering and discomfort your innocent child may experience with so much happening in his stomach.

Using some medication can help eliminate stomach worms. But, due to stomach worms, some children may overeat while others may eat very little.

I request all mothers to reduce the consumption of chocolate, candies, and ice cream, and to avoid foods with artificial colors and sweeteners, which can also lead to allergic reactions in the long term.

In later years, the most prominent indication of such a dependency would be the presence of black or brown discoloration on the teeth.

Prevention is better than cure; therefore, reducing worms in your child’s stomach will help normalize his health.

Secondly, it’s important to be mindful of excessive milk consumption in children under five years old, as it can lead to overconsumption of protein. For example, a cow needs 24 grams of protein daily, while a human child only needs 2 grams.

By giving a child cow’s milk directly, they could end up consuming 22 grams of excess protein, which may lead to decreased activity and energy levels.

If you are feeding your child with cow’s milk, remember to give diluted milk to meet the needs of your child. This means you should add 70% water to 30% milk. This will make it easier for your child to digest.

Avoid giving thick milk to your child, as it can lead to them becoming overweight and lazy. Moreover, it can also cause hormonal disorders at a bodily level.

What’s the solution?

Give your child fresh fruit like bananas, grapes, mangoes, or oranges. Encourage him to eat more leafy vegetables that are high in fiber, such as spinach, fenugreek, cauliflower, and carrots, to promote intestinal health.

This practice will neutralize the effects of intake of other food items. And your child will grow healthy in body and mind.
