Five Green Flags Of Successful Leaders

We all have worked for horrible bosses at one time throughout our careers. Most of us have also been fortunate enough to work for some outstanding leaders as well.

The way our brains are wired, we tend to focus on negative experiences much more than positive ones. We tend to remember the horrible bosses and experiences versus the positive experiences we have had with great leaders.

We all have ideas on the positive and uplifting traits we seek in a leader.

Chris Donnelly writing on Linkedin, posted a slide this week titled “Leadership Green Flags.” This got my attention.

We have all been a part of or even created our lists Of “Red Flags” of what to look out for in work situations with our boss.

But according to Donnelly, there are many green flags or attributes that make a great leader.

1. They take an interest in your life outside of work.
