Bite sized leadership advice

Humans don’t wake up in the morning to be horrible to others or to do bad work.

Sometimes we just don’t have the resilience or tactics to do better.

Always assume positive intent.

Look beyond the behaviour that you are seeing. There is a human there, one who is not at their best.

Humans don’t like to hurt other humans. Psychopaths make up less than 1% of the population.

Always come from an authentic place of positive intent, demonstrate it with your actions, simply saying ‘I come with positive intent’ is a little like ‘with respect’, when there is none given.

The action is not meant to be harmful to you. Let it go. Find the positive.
