Bite sized leadership advice

Think positive.

Negative thoughts flood your body with stress hormones ready to fight or flight. Your defensive wall goes up which takes a while to go down.

Negative thoughts breed more negative thoughts and you spiral into the pit of dispair.

Time to change the rhetoric, the self-talk in your brain.

A simple remedy; think 3 positive thoughts for every negative thought you let into your mind.

Catch the negative thoughts before they form and divert them.

Be creative. Missed your bus; a mindful moment!, washing machine has broken; a chance to wear something different.

Even in the worst case scenario work to find a positive. Think opportunities not problems.

The more you do this, the happier and in control you will feel. You will be a more inspiring leader as a result.

Start now. Catch those negative thoughts and convert them!
