To be the best leader

Bite sized leadership advice

To be the best leader, you need to be the best you.

Resilience comes from four things; hope, compassion, mindfulness and playfulness.

Hope: your hopes and dreams. Spend time dreaming, far enough out where anything is possible (5–10 years), what if you were to win the Lotto!

Compassion: Being with others, or pets (not fish), going good for others. We feel good about connections and caring.

Mindfulness: whether you like to run, go for long walks, do yoga, meditate or pray (to a loving, not vengeful god)

Playfulness: That childlike joy of seeing a playground and running to the swings or the slide. Embrace your inner-child.

To be a better leader, schedule these into your day. Find the time, they are important, they make you a better version of you.

Health warning: If you dare to dream, your dreams may just come true. #daretodream
