Hey Leaf community,
Yoni here with some much anticipated updates!
First and foremost, the team and I want to thank you for your amazing support over the past few months! We have been heads down working very hard to get Leaf into your home, and we are starting to get close.
So what’s been going on? Since we showcased Leaf for the first time in September at Techcrunch Disrupt SF we have had tens of thousands of signups for batch 2, thousands of emails with questions, finalized the Leaf design, traveled to China to secure a manufacturing partner, and tested several high quality grows within Leaf.
Today, we have begun releasing more information on what is to come. So lets get into some updates.
Design
We’ve completely upgraded the design. A beautiful white with black trim with oak wood touches and beautiful LED indicators. Leaf will look amazing in any home with any decor.
Precise temperature and humidity control
Many of you asked: “How am I going to get consistent results without being able to control the temperature and humidity in Leaf?” Well, we took this to heart, and completely re-engineered a precise temp and humidity control system. You will be able to choose what temp and humidity your plant needs, and Leaf will cool/heat/humidify/dehumidify the grow area to maintain that environment. The grow process becomes so much easier this way, and you can get consistent results, time and time again.
Optional hookup for automatic water tank changes
You will have the option to connect your Leaf to a city water and sewage connection (or even just the water without the sewage) for automatic water tank changes. If you don’t have the infrastructure for this no worries because you can always do this manually, but for those who want added automation we wanted to give this option.
Timeline for pre-orders
Our timeline for pre orders are this fall! You will need to register with your email (for free!) on our website in order to be eligible to purchase. More info can be found on our FAQ at www.getleaf.co.
Continuous updates
From now till the fall we plan on keeping you all updated with product development, manufacturing, and team updates. We’ve opted to do this via Facebook Live videos so we can be directly in contact with you, our community. If you’re signed up for our email list you’ll be notified when we plan to have these different Facebook Live sessions. Don’t worry if you can’t be there live, all recordings will be available after.
Its been such a wild ride thus far, and we can’t wait for the future, keeping you all updated, and putting Leaf’s in all of your homes.
