The epic campaign to conquest the sacred Land

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Shrines are sacred sanctum that protected the genesis continent from the great monster army in the ancient eternal war between monsters and mankind. The heroes of the past used the shrines to activate a protective magic shield to create the first line of defense to delay the advance of the satanic army heading toward Congress. Currently, 36 of the structures remain augustly standing in the center of each zone of the continent.

In the present time, these structures still play a role as a governing post to maintain peace in the surrounding prefectures. There are sacred sentinels and the king’s shield in the shrines to keep the sacred site unharmed from any threats.

The callings

Recently, with monsters’ growing prowess in the continent, congressional leadership felt the need to bolster the defense and decided to hold a contest to pick the most qualified kingdoms to defend the shrines. The victorious group of kingdoms (an alliance) will be replacing the incumbent sacred guards for the divine duty.

Each alliance will have the opportunity to fight the sentinels protecting each shrine and will take over if they defend against challenging alliances. The winning alliance will occupy the shrine and rule the surrounding area (aka. sacred prefecture).

This entire process is called the ‘siege of shrine’.

MILESTONES

The inaugural campaigns

  • The first campaign will take place on the 1st of August 2020 at UTC 14:00 and will be held for four hours.
  • The first campaign will take place at 9 occasions in 9 different shrines located within the second quadrant (presold fourth of the genesis continent)

“What do we have to do during the 4 hours?”

This will be a teamed effort — You and your alliance members will target one shrine and deploy troops. You will first fight and take out the defending sentinels in the shrines. If troops of your alliance successfully defeat the sentinels, you will occupy the shrine first. But, until the 4 hours expire, the battle has not ended. Other alliances will make all-out efforts to displace your alliance and take over the shrine. You must defend it at all costs. When your troops are injured, killed, or outnumbered, your alliance will have to give way to the attacking alliance. The alliance who defend the shrine at the last minute of the campaign will eventually emerge victorious in the siege.

Campaign cycle

After the first campaign, the winner will be the protector of the shrine for two weeks. The ‘King’s shield’ will protect the shrine from external attacks during this period. The alliance can extend their rule beyond the 2 weeks or even longer by fending off the contenders in the next and sieges to come.

Victory perks

Between the first and next siege, the victorious alliance can enjoy massive victory perks. There are many but most notably, two most important perks: The victor’s medals & sacred buff.

REWARDS

1. The victor’s medals

The leader of the victorious alliance will receive special tokens called ‘victor’s medal’ and must distribute them to the members. These special tokens can be used to exchange with game items or Dev-points in the sacred shop (located within each shrine)

  • The sacred shop only opens to members of victorious alliances.
  • The items sold in the sacred shop may have quantity limits.

There are three types of shrines in the quadrant and each level of the shrine will grant different numbers of victor’s medals to the victorious alliance.

“Wait, is the dev-points the same points as the dev-points on the Land tokens?”

Yes, nice catch! The dev-points you acquire with the medals can be used to add more Dev-points on your Lands. (in your in-game Land section)

2. Sacred Buff

The winning alliance will take over the shrine from the incumbent one. (sacred sentinels for the inaugural one). Once your alliance takes over the site, you will be able to hold the sacred territory highlighted so-called ‘Sacred prefecture’. Within this territory, your alliance members will get special magical buffs. Each shrine will come with its own special and powerful buffs.
