Am I minting a membership card?
The LeaguePass is your ticket to compete in LeagueDAO’s 2022 Fantasy Football Mega League. Your Leaguepass will entitle you to claim one spot aka team in the league this fall.
What is the LeagueDAO Mega League?
The Mega League is LeagueDAO’s decentralized fantasy sports league. You act as the general manager of your team. You will draft a team players, compete against other fantasy owners, and use all your skills to win the championship.
The MegaLeague offers everything you want from Fantasy Sports: direct competition, the thrill of victory, ownership and control of your team, opportunity to generate high returns.
What else does my LeaguePass entitle me to?
Your membership card is a full membership to the 2022 Fantasy Football Mega League. Because we’re awesome and you’re awesome, there will be exclusive metaverse and IRL benefits in the future for being a part of the Mega League. We can’t give specifics but we’re envisioning IRL game ticket giveaways, airdrops, exclusive merchandise, you see where we’re going with this.
What can I earn by playing in the Fantasy Football League?
When you play in the Mega League, you are competing for three tiers of rewards: 1. Weekly LEAG token Rewards; 2. Division Championship Rewards; 3. End of season MegaLeague Rewards.
Here’s a breakdown of how the rewards are calculated (these numbers are for illustrative purposes and will vary depending on the number of LeaguePasses sold)

- LeaguePass Price: $300 DAI
- Total Revenue Collected: $360,000
Revenue Disbursement:
- LeagueDAO Treasury: $108,000 DAI (30%)
- Reward Pool: $252,000 DAI (70%)

- Combined Division Champion Rewards: $90,000 ($900 Per Division)
- Mega-League Rewards: $162,000 (45%)

- 1st Place- $56,700 (35%)

How do I purchase an NFT on Polygon?
You have a couple options:
- Bridge DAI or ETH to Polygon from Ethereum. Here is a bridge that the LeagueDAO team recommends, Across.to
- Purchase MATIC directly on Polygon via an onramp like Wyre or Moonpay. Then you can use an exchange (Sushiswap or Quickswap) to swap the MATIC or ETH for DAI in a few clicks.
**If you already have a crypto wallet with crypto in it, we recommend bridging ETH to Polygon and then swapping the ETH for a little Matic and DAI via sushiswap or quickswap.
Remember, whichever route you choose, you will have to also secure some MATIC tokens to cover transaction costs on Polygon. 1 or 2 Matic will cover all of your transaction costs for a long time.
What do I do once I purchase my LeaguePass?
Soon after you mint your LeaguePass you will be able to redeem your pass in the LeagueDAO app.
Once you redeem your LeaguePass your team will be created and you will be automatically assigned to a Division with 11 other teams.

Will I have to pay more to draft my team of players?
No. Unlike some other Web3 fantasy games, you don’t have the shell out more money to get the best players on your team. Once you mint a LeaguePass you are in the league and you don’t have to also pay to draft your players.
When do I get to draft my team of players?
On August 28th at 5:00 PM UTC all divisions will conduct their live player draft.
Each team has the same number of draft picks and we are using a Snake Draft format to ensure there is an equitable distribution of the best players across all of the teams in each division.
