Almost exactly 12 Months ago LeagueDAO was formed as a result of an organic convergence of 60+ degens that wanted to play web3 fantasy sports. The original Fantasy Football League that we ran with this community was our Genesis League.
Now, one year later, we are now on the cusp of launching our fourth and most ambitious p2e fantasy sports game yet, the Mega League. Our full season-long H2H fantasy sports platform, complete with all of the key components you expect from a fantasy league powered by our web3 protocols.

Utility
The LeaguePass NFT was originally built to power our decentralized sign up system for the Mega League application. Anyone who has already signed up for our 2022 Fantasy Football League has done so by minting a standard LeaguePass on Polygon.
The LeaguePass Gold goes a little bit further. This collection, which is dropping on Ethereum, will give the holder access to the 2022 Fantasy Football league AND free access to all future LeagueDAO Fantasy Football Mega Leagues.

FAQ
Difference between the LeaguePass Gold and the Standard LeaguePass?
The Standard LeaguePass is only good for one season. Each pass is burned when you claim your spot in the league app.
As we grow and add more leagues to the Mega League app, the standard LeaguePass will continue to be used to manage league sign ups and fee collection (to the relief of fantasy league commissioners everywhere).
What do I do after I mint a LeaguePass Gold?
We will add you to the allowlist on polygon where you will be able to go and mint a standard LeaguePass for free.

When our League App launches you will have to redeem the standard LeaguePass in the app to claim your place on the Fantasy Football league.
Is there a deadline to mint a LeaguePass?
If you want to play in the 2022 Fantasy Football Mega League, you must mint your LeaguePass by 8/23 and the standard LeaguePass on Polygon must be redeemed/burned in the Mega League App by 8/24 at 5:00 PM UTC.
What happens if I already minted a Standard LeaguePass?
We got you. If you already minted a Standard LeaguePass on Polygon, we will airdrop you a free LeaguePass Gold.
