Arpita Ganesh, Founder & CEO, Buttercups Intimates, is a veteran entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience. She started her career in Hospitality industry with Taj & ITC group but soon moved on to start her own Creative Ad Agency in Hyderabad.

After spending 10 years in Advertising, one bra fitting experience in New York changed her perception about intimate wears which led her to finally found her calling. She founded Buttercups, India’s first high-end lingerie boutique in Hyderabad, where she pioneered Bra fittings in India, a completely new concept for the Indian market.

As India’s first bra fitter, she has helped more than 3000 women to find their perfect fit. She has achieved many milestones and has added many feathers to her cap including Google SMB Hero winner 2017, ET Power Of Ideas 2010 at CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad. In addition to that, she was also covered as “Young Turk” by CNBC TV.

In her quest to design a seamless experience and educate women about something which is so intimate and personal yet mostly neglected in their closet, she developed and launched India’s first bra sizing app, ABTF , a bra that fits.

Preethi works on the Intuit Platform Engineering team to ensure all Intuit customers have a seamless experience using any of the Intuit Offerings. She holds her Master’s Degree from BITS Pilani. She is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in IIIT-B. She has won several hackathons at Intuit and has productized several of her ideas. She was a speaker at GHC 2018 where she spoke on ‘Integrated Monitoring and Anomaly Detection’. She has conducted several workshops on Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence in IIT and NIT.
