AMEEN HAQUE: Founder, Storywallas

Ameen Haque, Story coach, Innovation consultant and Diversity champion, he is the founder of Storywallahs, a company that helps leaders and organisations leverage the power of stories.

Storytelling is an essential skill, no matter what you do and Ameen helps you build that capability at your organisation. His approach to Innovation is focused on Culture, specifically fostering a culture of innovation. And as a diversity champion, he helps organisations build a culture of inclusiveness in the truest sense of that word.

A Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Ameen has studied Advertising Media Planning at MICA. Formerly a Vice President at Ogilvy & Mather, Ameen has over 20 years of experience in advertising, theatre & consulting. These stints have exposed him to stories, human behavior, team dynamics and strategy. He loves climbing hills and playing table tennis.

Smitha Mave : Director of Engineering at athenahealth

Smitha, currently Director, Engineering with athenahealth is heading one of their business units in Bangalore. She has over 17 years of industry experience in software development and management in various companies ranging from startups (Robosoft, Veveo/Rovi) to medium and large sized companies (McAfee, TiVo, RSA, DELL-EMC). She has been part of product development teams as developer and/or engineering leader in multiple domains including Security, Storage, Virtualization, cloud infrastructure, Cloud Platform/API Development, Entertainment/Media and Healthcare.

Smitha has a bachelor degree in computer engineering and an executive MBA from IIMB. She is passionate about building highly talented teams and driving innovation — she has multiple patent disclosures and granted patents. She is a regular speaker in technical forums.

Smitha has been a champion for Diversity and Inclusion, won multiple awards for contribution to the area of women leadership and disability empowerment. She was the Program Chair for Grace Hopper Conference, India 2018, was part of the core team that conceptualized and drove the Asia’s biggest tech conference for women.

She will be speaking on “Transforming Healthcare through Technology” which could cover the various trends in healthcare technology and how deeply technology is penetrated into healthcare and how it is helping the healthcare providers to scale up.
