MushROOMS

Leap 2.2 is over, but the adventure does not end here. The past few weeks myself and others have been trying to recreate the Samurai sword out of mushrooms. At first it sounded really cool and simple, but then we started getting into the process which was fun, but not so much when we found out our sword didn’t swordify. Instead of picking it up like a stiff solid object, we picked it up like apple crumble, literally. Even though we didn’t succeed, I still learned a lot from our experience. But the thing is, we might have failed at something, but we succeeded at another. And that is our kombucha leather or fabric thing. We started off with 2 batches, but ended up with just one as we showered Jetsun with one of them while trying to bring it down the stairs, which was hilarious and unforgettable. But thank god we had a second batch. We decided to wait a little longer and found a new method to get it down, and turned out, well, let’s just say that“perfect is acceptable”.

Now, I’m ready for Leap 2.3! Wooo!
