the students going into Beji Guwang Canyon

Listen to the students tell their experience from our first week of LEAP on and off campus. In this you will find a montage of different student ideas that have arisen over the course of the week.

In the first week our students covered some great teambuilding activities, such as visiting a canyon as a site assessment for a future school field trip. We also looked into the mindful site of Gunung Kawi as a space to hone student skills and add an element of history. Following this, we were introduced to the many project proposals our community had on offer. We heard of ideas as diverse as changing the toilets on campus to building dehydrators to sell to health conscious parents.

In the end, we decided upon a reef oriented project, which will take us through a variety of different experiences and grow our knowledge on this front!
