“What are we missing?”

Some of the first concept art of the enemies in the game.

For the past weeks and months, we’ve had the opportunity to show the progress of El Tunche to lots of people. We had a couple of small “in-house” presentations with friends and experts in game development, and we also showed the game in national and international events. All of this helped us get a more objective view of the game, take a step back and see what other people think and expect of El Tunche.

All the feedback we got, added with our own expectations and vision of the project, made us understand we had to go back to the basics: the mechanics. And that’s what we’ve been working on for the past weeks. Combat feels a lot better with some new combos we’re adding and a whole batch of visual feedbacks have enhanced the experience altogether.

Rumi has a new attack!

There’s still a lot of ground to cover and we aim to show the game in at least two more events, both of which will surely help us get a new outlook on the game.

Two weeks from now we’ll be posting more news about El Tunche, so head on to LEAP’s Vault of Knowledge and follow us to keep updated and learn more about us and our games!
