Is Elizabeth Warren A Good Choice as VP?

Elizabeth Warren has been mentioned as a potential running mate to Hillary Clinton. What value does she bring to Hillary’s ticket? Let’s examine the sentiment towards her on twitter.

As a method of ‘polling’, we analyzed around 2,000 randomly selected tweets related to Warren and of those tweets, about 26% of the tweets were listed as negative. Interestingly, the majority of the tweets were neutral at 44%. To compare to traditional polling, via Huffington Post, they report a similar statistic with 27% viewing Warren as unfavorable. Furthermore, 28% had not heard enough and 20% were undecided; those stats together at 48% match well with the twitter sentiment analysis’s stat of 44% of tweets neutral towards Warren.

The big take away is that she adds very little excitement to a Hillary Clinton campaign.
