Prepare for Your First Day of Lessons
Pack a pair of gloves, dress in layers and lace your skates snugly! The Learn to Skate USA Orientation Video will help you prepare for your first day on the ice.

As you take to the ice, don’t forget to set some goals for yourself! With the new year here, January is the month to set goals and start a new journey. Use our goal-setting activity to plan your ice skating goals for the year and get started on achieving them!

Skate somewhere new
It’s National Skating Month, so why not have a skating adventure? Instead of going to the same rink, find a new place in your area to skate. If you’re traveling, look for a new rink to glide across. This could be another indoor facility, a frozen lake or even an outdoor rink!
