“It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it.” — Lou Holtz

Today began just as any other day with the interns turning in their numbers to get the day up and running despite the cloudy weather. Prayers were offered to God thanking him for another day and the fact that we are healthy and strong enough to start the day.

The load has just become heavier but everyday we train ourselves to adjust to the demands of the program by carrying the load in a way that won’t weigh us down.

We dived back into the interesting world of Electron. Electron is sort of like a web browser and a web server all in one convenient package. Developers build a user interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (the same as any website), and build the “back end” for their app — basically, all the functionality that a website typically can’t do, like delete your hard drive or turn on your web cam without asking — using JavaScript.

Over the past three months or so we’ve moved from web to mobile which has been an interesting transition; new and exciting practices make life more attractive. One should try lots of different types of experiences because trying different things yields an exciting life.

Life is more fascinating when it changes repeatedly and you have many diverse incidents.

The most fascinating thing about Electron is that a developer can make a desktop application using a single JavaScript code-base, and it compiles into a binary that works on every OS amazing right?

Most of us also spent some time working on the music app, building out the screens that would help solidify all that we have learnt from React to React Native.

Life is about how much you can take and keep fighting, how much you can suffer and keep moving forward — — Anderson Silva

Yes we keep fighting and we keep moving forward.

I love that last quote, it resonates with where I am right now. The last 2 weeks have been a very trying period of failure, transition and finding the faith to move on again. Nevertheless, no matter how difficult it is, I must keep going; because I have these amazing young ones looking up to me for inspiration and guidance.

We will break through, we will break free, and our light will shine bright for the whole world to see.
