Meet Jude
My name is Nwafor Jude, I hail from Ebonyi State and a graduate of Soil Science and Technology from Federal University of Science and Technology, Owerri.
Being exposed to ICT from my earliest time has left a thirst in me which I seek all day long to quench, but, the love of my domain knowledge (Soil Science and Tech), and Tech left me a choice of “The devil and The Red Sea”.
Having completed my Service Year on April 19th, 2019. I delved into micro blogging and SEO.
My sojourn into Software Development started in June 2019. Off from my NNPC exam, I took a time to visit my level mate and a fellow intern who told me of LearnFactory Nigeria. I was not sure of what it held because of my ubiquitous plans and dreams but time changes plan.
I had surgery barely two weeks after the exam. In the hospital, I had four Job offers from Canada to practice my domain knowledge and an invitation from NNPC for an interview but my body gave me little or no chance.
After my philosophical session with Socrates via his book, it was easy to conclude with him that this body deserves a punishment for failing, owing to the fact that the body is always a barrier to sofia. I decided against staying back to recover from surgery and came to join the celestial minds in LearnFactory Nigeria for a Six Months Program on Web and Software Development.
This program gave me a chance to realign and co-exist my love (Tech and Soil).
During the course of this program, I have learnt a lot of things within a short frame of time. I recommend that the learning culture in LearnFactory from my view point should be copied to our tertiary institutions for efficiency and productivity.
For programming languages, I am proficient in JavaScript. For web-technologies, I am proficient in HTML, CSS, currently learning ReactJS and hoping to learn React Native, Node.js, Next.js, GraphQL, NoSQL data management with MongoDB, and TensorFlow before my internship program runs out.
In my spare time, I like gaming, watching and playing football and sharpening my Latin language.
