ONORIODE BLOSSOM is an optimistic teenager with the sole ambition of becoming one of the world greatest dominating software developer. I am from the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. I began my career as a software developer on May 20th, 2019 at LearnFactory Nigeria and have since developed into an efficient tool in the craft of web development. I am a student of the prominent Our Savior Secondary School located at Sapele; I was born into a family of eight having five siblings, two female and three male.

Journey of Becoming a Programmer

My journey of becoming a programmer started May 2019. After my secondary school, my father heard about the LearnFactory Internship from his friend Mr Chibueze chibueze ukaegbu the CEO of LearnFactory Nigeria; and the plan was born for me to become a specialist in programming (software designing).

Before then I had no idea of what programming was, not till I visited LearnFactory Nigeria and was properly imparted on. It has never been easy but as great men say, every success most start somewhere and every good thing come from hard work and time.

My first project was to replicate the Jumia page with only HTML & CSS and creating a blog site and also some other interesting things which are in my GitHub account (Onoriode Blossom).

“Blossom is the brother to Blessed. You will know, not because I’ve told you but because of the resemblance. The very last to join the cohort yet not deterred to ensure that he grabs something tangible. His hardwork is better appreciate(d) if you consider that he joined when the cohort was already on Reactjs. And under the extra tutelage of his brother, he is mastering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

To show his level of commitment, as at the time of this writing, he is already having a good time learning and building mobile apps with React Native. The future is bright for such unrelenting person and its obvious that Blossom is that person.” Ugwuanyi Chidera

Even though he an unofficial intern, this young man has shown such dexterity that I was compelled to write an article about him too. The rate at which he is devouring the resource materials is alarming; he may get addicted and we would have another young man forever bound to his codes.

He is indeed a rising star.

Till next time
