In this article, I will share my personal journey and motivations for diving into the realm of technology, highlighting the transformative impact it has had on my life.

About me

Hi, am Vivian, an aspiring and undespairingly web developer. Am a young girl that has a passion for learning and discovering things that involve technology. in a nutshell “I’m absolutely obsessed with everything involving tech”.

Reasons why I got into Tech

  1. Passion for Tech:

“Passion is the genesis of genius.” — Tony Robbins

Passion is an intense and unwavering enthusiasm or a drive towards a particular interest, goal, or pursuit. It is a deep-seated motivation that fuels one’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment, often leading to a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment in one’s endeavors. Passion drives individuals to go above and beyond, continuously learn, and overcome challenges in their pursuit of excellence. It is the force that propels personal growth, creativity, and a genuine love for what one does. no wonder Opray says “Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you”

I can’t help it because my happiness knew no bounds that I’m in tech. I am deeply passionate about pursuing a career in the tech industry. The ever-evolving nature of technology and its ability to shape the world have captivated my interest. I am drawn to the intellectual challenges and creative problem-solving that come with working in tech. My desire to contribute to innovative solutions, embrace emerging technologies, and make a tangible impact on society drives my commitment to becoming a proficient and knowledgeable tech professional. I am excited to embark on this journey, continuously learn, and collaborate with like-minded individuals to push the boundaries of what is possible in the tech world. Finally, Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” — Albert Schweitzer

2. To acquire Knowledge:

In the world of technology, knowledge becomes obsolete quickly. Continuous learning is the key to staying relevant. — Lailah Gifty Akita

Being in the tech industry exposes you to a wide range of opportunities for learning and growth. You can attend conferences, workshops, and meetups where experts share their knowledge and experiences. There are online platforms, such as tutorials, video courses, and coding boot camps, that provide structured learning paths for various tech topics. Additionally, there are numerous online communities and forums where you can interact with other tech enthusiasts, ask questions, and learn from their insights.

Moreover, working on tech projects and being part of tech teams allows you to collaborate with diverse individuals who bring different perspectives and expertise. This collaborative environment often fosters knowledge sharing and encourages continuous learning.

Being in tech provides you with ample opportunities to learn new things and stay updated with the latest advancements in technology. It is a field that values continuous learning and rewards individuals who are curious and eager to expand their knowledge.

So in conclusion to learn new things is my choice which is in correspondence with what Brian Herbert says “The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.”

3. Communication and Socialization

Collaboration allows us to know more than we are capable of knowing by ourselves.” — Paul Solarz.

One of the reasons I am drawn to the field of technology is the exciting opportunity it offers to meet new people. Technology has the incredible ability to connect individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and expertise. Whether it’s through collaborative projects, networking events, or online communities, I am fascinated by the potential to interact with like-minded individuals, learn from their perspectives, and build meaningful connections. The tech industry provides a vibrant and dynamic environment that fosters collaboration and encourages me to expand my network. It’s the prospect of meeting passionate innovators, sharing knowledge, and collectively working towards common goals that truly inspires me in my journey in tech.

4. Problem-Solving:

Every problem is a gift — without problems, we would not grow. Tony Robbins

“The feelings when I discover or tackle things that are more complex and complicated are immeasurable” Vivian. It is understandable that Tech professionals are often presented with complex challenges that require creative problem-solving skills. If you enjoy tackling puzzles, finding efficient solutions, and applying logical thinking, the tech industry can provide a stimulating and fulfilling career path. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and address real-world problems using technology. In conclusion, Seeking solutions, discovering, trying out new things, and tackling more complicated and complex issues are what I love doing. “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.’’ Vivian.

5. Versatility and Transferability:

A tech career offers versatility and transferability across industries. Nearly every sector, including healthcare, finance, education, entertainment, and transportation, relies on technology. This means that my tech skills can be applied in various domains, providing me with flexibility and the potential to explore different areas of interest throughout my career.

Conclusion

In conclusion that am in tech now is how passionate I am about it. Moreover am not into tech for money because Money follows value. the most important thing is for me to add value to myself and create value for people through technology, surely the money will come. This is just a simple term anyone should understand add value first then money follows because definitely if you go for the money, when you face adversities and difficult challenges in the long run you are more likely to quit and give up but is only the patience, resolute and unwavering ones that seek for value, made it to the final burst up.

These highlighted above are my personal reasons for going into tech
