In this tutorial you will learn how to create, edit, and share a ThingLink. We use the web app, but ThingLink is also available on iPhone.
1. Sign up
- Start with creating a profile, using either your e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, or Google.
2. Create aThingLink
- To create a ThingLink, select “Create” in the top right corner.
3. Upload a photo
- Select “Choose image or drag-and-drop here”.
- Find your photo and press “Open”.
- Your photo is now being uploaded.
4. Tag the photo with content
- Click anywhere on the photo to add a tag.
- Add content in “Edit tag” in the bottom left corner.
- You can add links til websites, photos, or videos.
- You can add text and choose a tag icon.
- You can add as many tags as you want.
- To finish, click “Save tag”.
5. Manage access for your ThingLink
- You can choose “Public” to make it public.
- Or “Unlisted” so only those you send the ThingLink to can see it.
- You can control whether others should have access to add tags or not by ticking off “Allow anyone to edit”.
- Click “Save” to save.
6. Share the ThingLink
- Click “Share” to choose how to share.
- You can copy the direct link to your ThingLink and share it by e-mail or Blackboard.
- If you wish to edit your ThingLink, click “Edit”.
