In 1834, Delmonico’s became the first restaurant in the US where you could order from a menu. Before that, you would go to a tavern or Inn and you would be served whatever they had prepared for the day. Imagine that?

Today, the owner of the restaurant laments that eating it’s not what it used to be. New habits and trends like farm to table and healthy options have changed menus and demand.

Everything is in a constant state of change.

Our understanding of success has changed…
From making a living to living with purpose.
The concept of leadership, from being served to serving.
And of course, parenthood has changed.

What we know about what being a parent has changed.
What we know kids need from their parents has changed.
What we know parents can do for their kids has changed.
And what we know our kids can do for us has changed.

Functioning with the same old Operating System is no longer valid.

The pause this pandemic had gifted us is the perfect excuse/reason to reinvent ourselves as parents.

But not in the traditional framework of, Us parents-Them children. Us working-Them schooling. Us experts-Them apprentices. Us adults-Them children. But rather Us learners-Them learners. Together.

It’s a great gift, a unique opportunity to reinvent what parenthood can be. To reinvent our idea of what being a child means, and how we can help each other grow.

Not just to rewrite the menu, but to reinvent what a restaurant is!

We need your help!

What about this?

Talking about change. This is an image from a demo of a new game. The latest tech developed to make video games more and more real. To the point of being indistinguishable from real. If you are into games you’ll love this. If you are not, just watch it to learn how far we’ve come in just 20 years since Super Mario. Change, mate. Change!
