Designing for people who know less. Not designing for people that are dumber than you, but that know less.

I think this is a really interesting concept and sums up the need for the field of UX. Not everyone can excel in every field they encounter, no matter what their IQ says. In that respect UX becomes almost a silent ambassador of sorts to things unknown. Good UX design can take the “scary” out of something foreign to the user and introduce them to the subject in a way that they can easily understand. Good design should take the user by the hand and lead them through the experience in a way that is intuitive and natural to the them.

Good UX doesn’t make you think, it makes you understand.
