The first time I heard about UX is my college time. When my professor told me about this new word, I didn’t make much of it at first, because I didn’t understand what is UX and how important of that.

Actually, UX design is a tremendous change to the entire design world. It not only provides a better way to make your product more user-friendly, but it also has a huge impact on design thinking and thinking tactics.

Thus, there are some questions we need to know:

1, What is UX.

From the map you can see, in fact, UX is a very large area, not everyone is talking about only one interface. As you can see, the visual part of visual design is just a part of UX. When you interact with a system, your inner feelings, your perceptions of the system, the visuals you see, the words you see, the sounds you hear, and your knowledge of the system , Are part of your experience, but also areas that UX should focus on.

2, How to evaluate the user experience is good or bad?

Evaluation of the user experience is good or bad must be based on feedback from the target user base. The world does not have a perfect user experience under any circumstances, the so-called good bad, are based on the project’s goal of the scene. For example, high heels, wear is a very uncomfortable product, but it meets the maximum women’s pursuit of the shape. Another example is the firearms insurance device, in the course of the use of an extra step, but it guarantees the safety of users.

The personal goal of user experience is to be “natural.”

I observed 3-year-old child is easy to use iphone. For example, iphone unlock, children do not even learn to use. Because touch is human nature, at the same time iphone through the arrow icon, slide to the right of the text (children can not read the text), to imply that the finger touch to the right to slide to unlock. Nature and human nature are the same. Adults because more contaminated adult, but not necessarily immediately learn to unlock the iphone, you may need to read the text to understand. So illiterate children may learn to use iphone sooner than older people. Interactions that need to be interpreted in words are not good interactions.

And now I am continuing my interactive design and user experience at Peking University. I do not regret my choice. I hope I can get what I want on this road. I also hope to walk in the “Design” Get farther and farther.
