Hi all,

This is my reading list I’ve compiled from various sources. I’m sure there are some books I have left out, but I wanted to include the essential thinkers in value investing. I certainly have not finished all of them, but the ones I have I will leave a 🍙 next to!

This post will be updated frequently to reflect the pace at which I am reading. I will also try to link each book I’ve already read to a separate post about takeaways so as to keep this page nice and neat.

Reading List for (May 10— June 10):

  • Berkshire Hathaway Letters to Shareholder by Warren Buffett (all of them, from 1977 to 2019) (🍙May 12 2020)
  • Sustainable Withdrawal Rates From Your Retirement: Case Study and a counterargument: The 4% Rule — at What Cost? (🍙May 20, 2020)
  • InvestED by Danielle Town (🍙May 10 2020)
  • The Dhando Investor by Mohnish Pabrai (🍙May 14, 2020)
  • Unshakeable by Tony Robbins (🍙 May 20, 2020)
  • The Little Book of Valuation by Aswath Damodaran (website and youtube are fantastic too)
  • The Interpretation of Financial Statements By Benjamin Graham
  • The Little Book of Common Sense Investing by Jack Bogle (classic advice on index funds)
  • The Little Book That Still Beats The Market by Joel Greenblatt (The ‘Magic Formula’🍙July 2, 2020)
  • A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel— (Note: This book is quite different to the others in this list: it has a negative perspective on investing in stocks, arguing that the market is a ‘random walk’: that the past movement of a stock cannot predict its future movement. Nonetheless, pushback is good.) (🍙May 21, 2020)
  • One Up on Wall Street by John Rothchild and Peter Lynch (🍙June 29, 2020)
  • One Rental At A Time: The Journey to Financial Independence through Real Estate by Michael Zuber (Real Estate)

Other great reads:

  • The Richest Man in Babylon by George Samuel Clason
  • Common Stocks as Long Term Investments by Edgar Smith
  • Millionaire Women Next Door by Thomas Stanley
  • Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter
  • The Intelligent Investor (1949) by Benjamin Graham
  • The Millionaire Real Estate Investor (RE) by Gary Keller

Best,

Nicole
