9. Driving a Car.

Technically all you need to know is the brake and the pedal to drive a car — it’s the basics. The reason it may take you so long to learn is your confidence and fear when it comes to driving. BREATHE — when you drive. You will make mistakes, possibly crash too but it’s all part of your learning!

11. Love Languages.

Ahhhhh, love, it’s so beautiful and nice and feels incredible. So easy to fall in love, yet so hard to maintain relationships. This is where the love languages come in. The issue isn’t with love or people, it’s how we express love. The love languages help people understand how others love us and how we love them.

12. Basics of Tax.

Tax is a weird concept. Its purpose is to help governments raise revenue for their expenditures that mainly serve society. For example, when you purchase an item you might see a sales tax that the government deducts. This tax pays for schools, teachers, roads, buildings, etc.

To learn about tax, it’s important to understand income tax which is a percentage value of your earnings that go to the federal government. To file taxes, you have to have certain slips or documents. Based on your geography, each procedure is different. With a quick google search, you can understand the procedure and the requirements of income tax. You might be eligible to file for a tax return (based on geography) if the government took away too much money from you — start looking into that and get a few hundred back into your account!

28. Basic personal and self-reflection exercises.

I start off with these questions in situations that I’m unhappy with or angry about. It helps to understand more about why I did something or reacted a certain or wish I had done something differently.

a. Am I being authentic? Why am I really doing this? Who is it for?

b. What is/was my responsibility in this situation?

c. What’s the best for all involved? (for the team/group, or the relationship).
