I would like to think that the act of journaling or diary-keeping is common among writers — those little anecdotes or flourishes that we write about our days or reflections on the way life and the goings-on around us are happening. More often than not, these little things that we write stay within the confines of the notebooks we call journals, mixed in with the grocery lists and to-dos of day to day life — reminding us that even if we reach Nirvana, we still have to do the dishes and go grocery shopping.

The act of journaling, more than keeping tabs on one’s life, can be perhaps an act of keeping sanity — a way to keep your feet on the ground. More than that, it can be a way to keep track of your own story as you weave, navigate, wander, and journey through life. The epiphanies that we arrive at along the way, the things we learn and unlearn, and all the pains of living and loving contained within the pages of our journals. Hidden under pillows or in desks, in bags, or digitized in laptops, we all have it.

This publication, then, is for the bits and bobs that I have found along the way, things I feel are worth sharing — not for views or claps, but to simply be read by curious writers and hopefully impart something to those who are willing enough to read it. It is a giving out of what I have found by looking deep into myself in hopes that someone, someday will read it and learn what I have learned in the journey of being and becoming.

Write on.
