GoodNotes for Windows is looking for early adopters!
It’s the news you’ve been waiting for: GoodNotes is coming to Windows.
The best part? You can be a part of the journey.
We’ve just launched our invite-only beta and are looking for early adopters to try it out, and help shape the future of GoodNotes on Windows.
GoodNotes for Windows is now in Beta
As we build out the new app, we’re committed to hearing your feedback every step of the way. That’s why we’re building the app bit by bit, feature by feature.
Right now, the GoodNotes for Windows beta features a snapshot of the core functionality in a note-taking app for digital handwriting.
Here’s what you can already do in the new beta.
- Handwrite, highlight, and edit your notes with the Lasso Tool
- Create notes using any of the default templates, including lined paper, Cornell notes, planners, and more
- Create up to 20 notebooks
It’s a separate app from GoodNotes 5 for iOS/MacOS (for now!)
Because we’re newly building GoodNotes for Windows, it doesn’t currently sync with GoodNotes 5 on the iPad, Mac, and iPhone.
That means you won’t yet be able to view and edit your notes using the Beta app (yet).
If you’re looking for a way to view your existing notebooks on your Windows computers, you can use the Web Viewer (see here!).
Who should sign up for the beta?
The beta is now invite-only. Here are the simple eligibility requirements:
- You already have a Microsoft Surface or other Windows device with a stylus
- If you’re a teacher or student, you’ll get priority
We do have a limited number of seats, so if you don’t get a spot, stay tuned!
