Apps are forever!

The problem with great texts is that people are afraid of them. The Georgian medieval epic poem The Knight in the Panther’s Skin is doomed to be chained to the high school curriculum unless it becomes a 3D IMAX movie, or in the worst case scenario an overly-sexualized anime.

Before that happens, we helped Bank Constanta reanimate the revered epic by creating a Facebook game of rewriting and re-reading the poem line by line. After completing the selected line, the user would become a co-author of Shota Rustaveli, passing the torch to the next person in line.

Everything is connected.

To support the campaign, our mobile team went on to create the first mobile edition of the epic for both iOS and Android devices. The app was equipped with all the mobility of a smartphone reader, a special index and a selection of the most memorable stanzas from the poem.

We can be sure for now that Rustaveli’s not dead yet!
