Raffael Dörig (* 1976) is director of the Kunsthaus Langenthal. He also teaches at the Haute école d’art et de design HEAD in Geneva. From 2005 until 2011 he was engaged at the new media art space [plug.in] and the House of Electronic Arts, both in Basel. He was co-founder and co-director of the Shift electronic arts festival (2007–2011).

Recent projects at Kunsthaus Langenthal include the group shows “On YouTube” with artworks and playlists by artist exploring YouTube and “Megarave” on rave culture and the early web of the 90s from the perspective of today’s net related art. Among his curatorial freelance projects are a group show on hacking and bricolage at the Electron Festival Geneva (2011), Oliver Laric’s solo show “Kopienkritik” at Skulpturhalle Basel (2011), or the group show “Currents, Curtains, Code” for the Valais Triennale (2014).

Raffael Dörig studied Art History, Media Studies and German Studies at the University of Basel. He lives in Basel.
