Introducing Certifyd (Alpha) — Issue Blockchain Verified Credentials on WAX

Issuing blockchain verified digital credentials has never been easier and economical than it will be with Certifyd. Entities like ed-tech organizations, NGOs, Blockchain Tech companies and Independent educators could leverage Certifyd to issue credentials to their users/attendees/volunteers/employees.
The credentials issued using Certifyd are indissoluble, authentic, and couldn’t be hacked. It will also offer services like easy credentials tracking tools (social shares) for entities, email marketing tools integration and MOOC integration. Also, Résumé and Credential portfolio tracking for credential receivers.
We have been working on this vision from last three months, and are excited to share its Alpha release. For now an entity could create a group and issue credential to users on WAX Testnet. We are actively working on email integration and social media tracking (upcoming).
In case you are an entity, influencer, or independent educator who wish to leverage Credentials for community building, we would love to have you try and leverage Certifyd.
How you could issue your first credential?
1. Create an Account on Testnet
Creating a testnet account is simple. Get a 12 character name account using above link and click on Create. Copy and paste the keys on the text editor/word doc.
2. Import your account on Anchor wallet.
As WCW doesn’t work with WAX Testnet, you have to import your Testnet keys on Anchor.
Go to Manage Blockchain -> Add/Remove Networks -> Select WAX Testnet.
To import your keys
Manage Wallets -> Import account -> Import Account -> Import Private Keys -> Click on Import.
Once you get an account, you are ready to test and login into Certifyd.
3. Create an entity by clicking on Register Now or Join Us.
Login into Certifyd using Anchor. To get started you have to create an entity using Entity Registration form. Click on “Register/Join us” on the homepage for Entity Registration Page. Put our organization name and URL in the fields and click on “Register Now”.
Sign the transaction using Anchor Wallet.
4. Wait for verification.
Every entity needs to authenticated by us. Once authenticated, we will verify your entity on our end to start issuing Credentials.
5. Create a group.
Once you registers your entity, you will redirected to Dashboard (in case there is some glitch, please refresh). For issuing credentials you first have to create a group which consists of template for related events/workshops.
Go to Group menu and fill in all the details and click on Create Group. You may edit details of a Group later if required.
6. Start issuing credentials.
Entity needs to verified by us before issuing a certificate.
Once you are done with creating group, head to Credentials on top menu and click on Issue Credentials. Provide name of Awardee and Email IDs. You may also upload a CSV to issue Credentials to a list of Awardees.
Every Certificate issued will have a Unique Credential Number (UCN) linked to it. UCN is an easy way to cross verify a certificate on the Blockchain using the search bar on https://dev.certifyd.digital homepage.
A user could also search for all their Credentials using their email-ids, which helps them building and managing their credential portfolio on Certifyd.
