Introducing WAXZILLA — Bringing Products and Community closer.
Waxzilla aims to be a connection point for the products/services and the WAX community, where community could go through the list of all the products being developed on WAX, curate them, participate in listed projects giveaways and claim rewards.
WAX ecosystem has grown by leaps and bound in last three years, with new products and services getting built and released everyday. But for many community members it’s hard to keep track of most developments, unless they are following influencers or challenges actively.
The problem is not just limited to community members struggling to keep up with the pace of development but also for Product Owners and small teams also who struggle to market great products to the community members.
Enter Waxzilla
Waxzilla allows listing of products, services, ideas, development resources and jobs, to keep everything WAX in a central place. The listed products are verified by the team behind Waxzilla i.e. Ledgerwise which can then be upvoted by community members.
To avoid spamming by Bots, we introduced Waxzilla Pass which is required to be bought from the market and returned to Waxzilla contract for user verification. Once verified user may upvote products and participate in giveaways.
Helping Products from Ideation Stage
Market research/lean startup strategy fails in crypto communities when the targeted audience seems to be more after Giveaways and free tokens. Small teams are required to put a lot of funds or work to get attention of community.
On Waxzilla, community members interested to venture may list their own ideas and get the feedback of the community. Post Jobs and build a team on the platform itself.
If a product owner feel they require additional funds to kick start their project, Waxzilla contract is all set to enable crowdfunding.
Bots
Every project try to build their own community on Telegram/Discord, which leads to segregation and filters most of the announcements. This also results in limiting the spotlight to a few products or services which are known to the community members.
We are working on Bot for all Wax related Discord servers and Telegram channels, which could help with cross promotion of different products and services built on WAX.
The bot may also help listing the jobs, resources, and products by tags like wallets, marketplaces, P2E and so on. We will also set alert for new product listing in certain category so all connected community members could follow what’s coming on WAX.
Coordinated Marketing like Never Before
This problem has been very close to us, community building is what set a product apart. Without community even good products fail. There’s always first mover advantage in every industry, where late comers struggle to get community to notice them, and most crypto startup fail in this stage.
We feel we may help young products with better marketing and community building.
We are working on coordinated marketing tools for all the community members, where “verified” members may go through the Marketing Dashboard on Zilla platform and participate in giveaways and move ahead in the Zilla ranking to claim more rewards.
The most rewarded members will be considered to be Marketing Ninjas, enabling more drops coming their way. Even small tasks like Retweets and Like will give you some points and increase your ranking.
The Leaderboard Wallet table will be made available to public for helping to claim more rewards.
The way forward
We are currently working hard to get Bots and Coordinated Marketing tools build for Waxzilla platform. We have also reached to WAX Team to have their support for getting products listed on Waxzilla.
As it’s a community product build to support both products and community members, any feedback to improve the onboarding experience for both will really help.
