IBCT Business Status Update for June 2024

Here is an update on IBCT’s business status as of June 2024. Let’s take a look at the latest news and developments.
1. INFIRIUM was selected as “Procurement Recommend” through the MSS’ Innovative Product Designation System
IBCT’s “INFIRIUM” has passed the evaluation from the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs(TIPA) in the public interest and innovation face-to-face evaluation of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups(MSS)’ 2024 Innovative Product Designation System.
The ‘2024 MSS Innovative Product Designation System Implementation Plan’ is a system designed to promote and transfer the innovative products developed through the MSS’s small and medium-sized enterprise technology development support projects with public procurement. Once designated as an innovative product, it allows for easy and rapid entry into the public procurement market(Innovation Marketplace).
Once designated as an innovative procurement product, it can be registered through the electronic procurement system(Innovation Marketplace) which allows various government and local public agencies to purchase the innovative product.
In the MSS innovation product designation system, receiving a “Procurement Recommend” evaluation from TIPA is considered formal recognition of INFIRIUM’s innovation and technological prowess.
2. “IBCT passed the first screening for the ‘KISIA 2024 First Half Korea Information Security Product Innovation Award.’
INFIRIUM, developed by IBCT, a blockchain development company and specialist in DID-based data platform services, has passed the first screening for the ‘2024 First Half Korea Information Security Product Innovation Award.’
The Korea Innovation Information Security Products, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA) and Electronic Times, aims to discover and award innovative information security products based on new and converged technologies. Established in 2022, this award promotes the development of new technologies by domestic information security companies and supports their publicity efforts”
INFIRIUM, developed by IBCT, is a SaaS(Software as a Service) platform that enables user identity authentication and credential verification based on blockchain and Decentralized Identity (DID) through API integration without the need for additional blockchain infrastructure. The platform also allows for the storage, management, and sharing of various data and electronic documents using DID.
Meanwhile, KISIA and Electronic Times will announce finalists and conduct judging to award the Minister of Science and ICT Award to the top 4 products in the information and physical security categories. Additionally, they will select a winner for the Rapid Verification Products category.
3. IBCT has been selected as a participating company in the ‘ABLE Linked 1st IR Demo Day’
IBCT has been selected as a participating company in the [ABLE Linked 1st IR Demo Day], organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) as part of the ‘2024 Blockchain Companies Domestic and International Investment Support’ initiative.
The ‘ABLE Linked 1st IR Demo Day’ is part of KISA’s Blockchain Global Expansion Initiative, which supports blockchain SMEs in need of funding. The program provides consulting, IR demo days, and meetings with investors to facilitate domestic and international investment.
Companies are selected from the ‘ABLE (Alliance of Blockchain Leading digital-Economy)’ members to promote the blockchain industry ecosystem. IBCT, as a member of ABLE, will participate in the event.
ABLE is a consortium that leads blockchain business and technology collaboration and export expansion to discover domestic and international technology demands. It was launched to strengthen the foundation of the domestic blockchain industry ecosystem and enhance technological competitiveness. ABLE is operated by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT.
On July 3, 2024, IBCT will conduct an IR pitch and presentation at the IR Demo Day. They will receive support in investment attraction consulting and investor matching.
The event will be attended by seven blockchain companies, Mirae Asset Capital, IBK Investment & Securities, Smilegate Investment, Hyundai Motor Securities, JB Investment, SK Securities, Daekyo Investment, Samsung Venture Investment, and FuturePlay.
