IBCT selected as a “Preferred Bidder” for DID blockchain platform infrastructure development project at Incheon Techno Park.

IBCT has been selected as the preferred bidder for the public tender announcement by the National Procurement Service for the development of region-specific industry-linked pilot services and a blockchain platform.

The project is being driven by Incheon Techno Park, selected for the “2024 Regional Blockchain Technology Innovation Support Center Development Project” supported by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

The project aims to develop region-specific industry-linked pilot services that citizens can experience, such as the I-SUM pass for verifying identities of tourists, and to establish a blockchain platform for the protection of intellectual property and for utilizing blockchain services of local businesses, with the goal of developing at least two types of blockchain platforms.

Through this, we expect to achieve ▲ enhancement of service completeness and validation of practicality through a blockchain platform before developing citizen-perceived services ▲ development of secure and reliable services by preparing vulnerability checks and response measures before the launch of DApps and services ▲ development of services (two cases) for practical application to allow citizens and businesses to experience blockchain technology, thereby enhancing understanding and trust in blockchain technology among citizens and businesses.
