Over the last couple of months, Ledgity has been paying close attention to the latest developments of Cardano. - Cardano is going to have its first Stablecoin — Djed
The use of a stablecoin such as Djed will allow users to maintain greater control over their transactions, thanks to its stable value and low fees.
- Cardano Announces Plutus dAppStore
Plutus dAppStore is a storefront where developers can upload their decentralized applications running on Cardano and make them easier for discovery. The Plutus dAppStore will allow Cardano users to explore the entire ecosystem of dApps running on the protocol through a single “storefront.”
- Regulated institution UBX running a public stake pool on Cardano
UBX, the fintech venture studio and fund spun out of UnionBank, has launched its own public stake pool featuring Cardano which should increase on-chain DeFi activity.
- Reforestation verification records to be stored on Cardano
Cardano has teamed up with global land restoration and tree planting verification company veritree to secure its records on Cardano’s blockchain. Organizations using veritree’s platform will be provided with an immutable, transparent and auditable blockchain based report on all of veritree’s afforestation and reforestation efforts.
- Partnering up with esports giant Rival
The partnership will see Cardano facilitate the ability to create and distribute NFTs, the redemption of NFTs for physical goods, and marketplace-based royalties within the Rival platform.
- Cardano and Dish Network to provide Digital Identity capability
Dish will integrate the Cardano blockchain into its telecom business and help provide digital identity services to Dish customers.
