Leave Leeds Tidy is in it’s 10th year and yesterday was the first Community Free Shop from this years campaign. Of all the donations collected since May around 4 tonnes of it went towards the Community Free Shop at All Hallows church. Alongside this around 1.5 tonnes went to the Rainbow Junktion Cafe located within All Hallows church.

The 4 tonnes of items was sorted by the LLT team, as well as the wonderful people over at All Hallows and volunteers.

All of this…

was turned into this…

All Hallows Community Free Shop 02.07.2018

After hours of sorting items into different categories and displaying them on tables, rails, in boxes and crates, on chairs (and whatever other space we had), the shop was ready to open!

Since opening at 10am, the shop had 130 visitors coming and going throughout the day, along with some successful raffle winners who won items such as a TV, a brand new Adidas trainers, a PlayStation 2 with accessories, and a microwave- all for FREE!

The raffle continues of Thursday with a bicycle, a record player, and some speakers, up for grabs.

Following are some pictures of the local people who came along to grab themselves some goodies.
