Over the coming months, our Left Travel team will be traversing North America! We’ll be attending conferences to meet with partners, form new relationships, and deepen our knowledge to continue strengthening our conversion of high search intent traffic into quality bookings.

If you are in the area for one of the dates listed below, please reach out to us through Twitter to meet up with one of our Left Travel team members.

August 27th-29th: Left Travel’s Paid Search Manager, Ryan Kirkbride, and our Paid Search Strategist, Anton Goncharuk will be attending CTA18 in Vancouver, Canada. This single track, thoughtfully curated marketing conference provides insight into the rapidly changing landscape that is digital marketing. Our team is looking forward to hearing from industry leaders such as Hana Abaza from Shopify Plus, and Cyrus Shepard from Zyppy.

September 20th-21st: Our Paid Search Strategist, Anton, will be heading to Chicago for the Data Science Conference. Unlike typical conferences, this one is vendor, sponsor and recruiter-free. The objective of the event is to provide a space were analytics professionals can network and learn without being prospected by other attendees. Anton is looking forward to doing a deep dive into predictive analytics, AI and machine learning.

September 27th-28th: Further south, our Director of Left Travel, Ashley Joslin, and Project Manager, Joanne Lott, will be attending the 6th Annual Skift Global Forum in New York. As one of the most renowned conferences in the travel industry, Skift provides a unique and creative gathering of top marketers, technologists and strategists. With over 1,000 attendees from 40 countries, this is sure to be a great networking opportunity for Ashley and Joanne as they continue to focus on global brand expansion.

October 12th-14th: Anton will be attending DataScienceGO in San Diego, California. Designed for data scientists to grow their skills, meet others, and accelerate their career paths, this is sure to be an informative conference. Anton is most looking forward to hearing from Kirill Eremenko on ‘The Data Science G.A.P (Get Awesomely Powerful) and Hadelin de Ponteves talk on ‘AI and Deep Learning’.

November 13th-15th: Ashley and Joanne will be escaping the rainy Vancouver weather to attend the Phocuswright Conference in LA. With the theme of the ‘Power Paradox’, the conference takes an “uncompromising look at the tension between size and speed, between power and agility, between domination and innovation” — and how to harness these differences to sharpen your skills and scale your business. This conference features a phenomenal speaker roster which includes Steve Hafner, Co-Founder and CEO of KAYAK, Mark Okestrom, President and CEO of Expedia Group, and Greg Greeley, President of Homes at Airbnb.
