The debate for U.S. Senate between two equally lousy candidates

October 25, 2022.

The debate for the U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania was held tonight, and I watched it online. The debate pitted John Fetterman, Democrat, against Dr. Mehmet Oz, Republican.

From the opening bell, both of these candidates stunk up the ring. Neither one could even answer the opening introduction without bad-mouthing the other, but in so doing both showed they were personally clueless.

I tried to watch it. To tell you the truth, this charade by these two men made me sick.

I came into this debate hoping John Fetterman would be able to show he had recovered from his stroke. While Fetterman has clearly recovered from the stroke, he is still as dumb as a brick.

I came into the debate hoping Dr. Oz would implode, but he didn’t: he was too busy dancing around the questions to actually provide even one answer that made sense. His whole strategy was to insult Fetterman, who then got confused, angry, and would lash out.

From there, it all went downhill.
