Tony Wilson, The Young James Brown

Tony Wilson was endorsed as the YOUNG JAMES BROWN by the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Mr. Wilson can do all of James Brown’s dance moves and a little more adding his own style. He has a voice like James Brown too. Nobody in the music business is exactly like James Brown. As you can see, that doesn’t mean that someone else can’t do what he can, although they may not make it to the top the same way the Godfather did. James Brown was the hardest working man in show business, but the YOUNG JAMES BROWN is in a different time and era. When I see him, I see him as a big star. You’ve got to be great if you can imitate the Godfather of Soul.
James Brown saw Tony Wilson (Young Janes Brown) perform and was very impressed. James Brown recognized him for a movie role. He asked Tony to be in Tony Scott’s Internet-only short film “Beat the Devil”. That was very nice of James Brown to recognize Tony. There are people that would have looked the other way and would not have recognized anyone. The Godfather knew what he was doing with a generous heart. It was a blessing to Tony and James Brown working together.
Maybe in the future we will see some more short James Brown films starring Tony Wilson. A James Brown movie starring Chadwick Boseman has already been made. It was a good movie, but there was a whole lot about James Brown we did not see in the movie. A better movie could be made starring Tony Wilson about James Brown.
