Starting this month, we bring a new LBA in the form of relaxing and peer to peer live sessions, where we will learn and be up to date with the different frameworks or proposed regulation around the world.

We all agree that not a single jurisdiction is able to answer all the concerns arising in the Blockchain arena. At least not for now. With this in mind, during the LegalBlock Q2 survey conducted to all the members in April, the Catalysts were able to identify the jurisdictions our members would like to know more about according to the responses.

We have designed this serie to comply with our vision of a Decentralized Legal Community, where members collaborate to the community with their knowledge sharing the updates on their particular jurisdiction, and in turn, they receive the same from other members. Collective Wisdom, remember the Conceptual Paper? We can also bring other Clusters to share the work in progress in their jurisdiction if we need to do so.

How does it work?

Our LBA or LegalBlock Activities are online. We share some material in preparation for the session on our community channels along with the link to join. Alternatively, we send the invitation via email to the LegalBlock community members. More information about LBA can be found on our website.

LBA [3], Global Regulation Frameworks, is compromised by a series of sessions which format is a mix of an informative webinar and hang-out with live participation. The outcome of this activity is producing the curated material for all of us to access when we want. As the LBA [3] evolves, we will work on developing the best options with the tools available to curate this content.

How does our calendar look?

June 14th. 3.00 pm UTC. Gibraltar. With Joey Garcia, co-chair at the Gibraltar Government working group/think tank on digital currencies.

June 21st. 5.00 pm UTC. Wyoming, US. With Rob Jennings, founder of Wyoming Blockchain Coalition

And more to come.

We expect to have at least one session every four to six weeks, or more often according to your feedback. Keep in touch via Slack ( by registration only ) or joining our new Telegram Group for general discussion.

Before we say “see you in Slack”, here is a piece of inspiration for the problem we are trying to address with these Global Regulation Framework Series. An excerpt from our Conceptual Paper where we make the analogy of the Wobbly table in regards to the Regulatory concerns.
