A small step towards our goals
Our team started work on the project “Legal Neural Networks” with the formation of a strategy and an algorithm for its implementation. One of the first and one of the most important stages of this strategy was the need for precise formulation of technical tasks, the solution of which would open the way to the success of the entire project. During the formation of the idea, it was determined that the main way to obtain basic information for analyzing and processing by neural networks in the application, would be photography. This was the winning moment for our idea — the person took a photo and then received a filled final document. The user will be able to take a picture of an object carrying the source data: a document, ID, receipt, check, monitor screen and much more. The resulting image will be the starting point for the work of the neural network application. Formation of an array of correct source data for further work of our neural networks requires to solve the problem of the highest quality recognition of texts present in the photos. To solve this problem, we analyzed and compared all the existing basic modern technologies for text recognition. Many months of efforts to analyze existing solutions, consultations with experts and the work of our specialists led to an interesting result.
For our project, it was only one of the solved problems, one of the steps we could take. But this decision deserved, from our point of view, to become a separate, albeit small but project. Therefore, we created a simple application that allows you to recognize any text from the image — TEXT UP.
