EV3 Robotics and modern teaching
Since add-on modules can only be added for the educational package, these components can only be loaded into the educational version of the software.
The educational kit includes castor wheel, 1 small motor, 2 large motors, 2 tactile sensors, 1 color and 1 ultrasonic sensor with red LED, 1 gyroscope, 1 rechargeable battery and the possibility to download the EV3 software. In addition, the education package comes with up to 500 more bricks than the starter kit.

The data logging function within the EV3 software is a powerful science tool for conducting experiments. It’s easy to predict, collect, view, analyze and manipulate sensor data and view data in interactive graphs. The software is based on LabVIEW, the industry’s leading graphical programming language and, as mentioned above, is optimized for classroom use.
