Inspiration comes in many forms. Every story makes a difference. Just as inspiration comes from books, people, talks, movies and articles, inspiration comes from the device in the palm of your hand.

Brands channel their corporate social responsibility and value systems through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. They promote good causes such as women empowerment, equality, LGBTQ and fighting hardships.

In today’s world — where mobile phones are the first and last thing people see during their day — positivity and inspiration on social media and other apps they use can make a difference in their day. Just scrolling through Instagram reels can cheer someone up, if they land on the right content.

Every story that Nike creates inspires me. Nike’s official Instagram page is a feed of inspiration. From running clubs to encouraging disabled people to play a sport they love, Nike has covered many grounds on its social media. Nike’s Twitter page happens to have similar content, as well.

Nike is the top sports brand in the world. Being the richest sports brand, Nike can easily sell many of its products without the inspiring videos and documentaries that they make on sports stars and anyone who has a story to tell.

Yet, Nike effortlessly promotes for a greater cause and acts as a channel for those who want to tell their story to the world. Seeing these videos and reels inspires not just the viewers, but also those who aspire to share.

In my next project, I intend to tell someone’s story. I believe that listening to and creating someone’s story will inspire me along with the viewers. If every product is promoted with a social cause, more people will be aware of the circumstances of others who are less fortunate and potentially be inspired to make a difference.

One of the goals of Nike’s social media pages is to encourage a diverse group of people to play the sport that they love, including those who have disabilities. On Nike Women’s page on Instagram, Nike promotes mothers pursuing practicing and excelling in the sport that they love despite the hardships of motherhood and pregnancy.

As a newbie video maker, I aspire to make every video with a story to tell or a cause to promote. I always pictured myself interviewing someone while making any video in order to add that as a narrative to my video story. From watching the videos that Nike makes, I find that some stories are best told with just the right visuals.

Sometimes, just having a narrator for the video works, as well. This particular Nike video promotes a very simple message: Never fail to at least try. The videography makes the difference for me, and it puts a smile on my face. While inspiration keeps you going, add in a smile, and it makes life so much more beautiful.

Shying away from new things happens to almost everyone at some point, at least once. Fighting the fear, or whatever feeling is stopping you, can possibly give you one of the best experiences of your life. If you learn to enjoy it, it makes you happy. If not, you know that you have at least tried.

I love Nike’s feed for the inspirational and short videos they make. It keeps me on my toes, and it makes me count my blessings every time I watch one. It makes me want to do better and to push myself to give it my best shot every time I play tennis, the sport that I love.
