Project Officer (Part Time)

Leicester, Leicestershire, Part-time, Temporary Salary: £16,216.00 /year

Leicester Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Centre (Leicester LGBT Centre) is a registered Charity established to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and the wider community in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Centre exists to provide a safe social and support space, deliver high quality professional services to individuals and organisations and challenge and educate society on equality and diversity.

We are looking for a Part time Project Officer (PO) for 30 hours per week.

This is a 7 month role which will continue subject to funding thereafter.

The role will focus on supporting Young transgender people. The work will involve working with direct beneficiaries as well as family members, carers and other professionals involved with the beneficiaries. The PO will also offer expertise and support to colleagues relative to the facilitation of group sessions, training delivery, advocacy and engagement with partner agencies.
