What’s On — #ShineBrightInColour Campaign

We’re very pleased to introduce you our new campaign for 2018, #ShineBrightInColour!

After the recent loss of Gilbert Baker, the author of the rainbow flag, and as a tribute to him and the LGBT+ community, we will be using the rainbow flag colours to talk about LGBT+ related topics. Each month, a colour of the flag will be used to to raise awareness and visibility about a specific topic that affect or might be of interest to the LGBT+ communities. We will talk about LGBT+ History, LGBT+ and Sports, Homelessness, Culture, Minorities along with others.

LGB&T Training Event

The Leicester LGBT Centre is offering a course around LGBT+ people tailored for counsellors and carers on the 3rd of February 2018. Whether you are new to the LGBT+ identities or want to expand your knowledge, this full-day training will give you an in-depth insight of the main issues that affect this community.
