Doutor Finanças is a fintech specialist in personal finance and credit and savings solutions.Its technology allows a digital, agile and simple process that meets the needs of customers, consultants and partners, in all phases of the financial processes.
They have a mission. To help people make better financial decisions. This focus on people and their well-being as clients, is also reflected in the comfort of their recently renovated office in Lisbon to accommodate their collaborators even better.

Work Space
The office is situated in different floors of a building which is located in an area with lots of light and a luxurious views.
When entering the work area, the natural light and the plants are the first things that our eyes connect with. The open space is organized in different areas, well defined by the colors chosen for the floor, which informs us on how to move around the space.
Work areas are delimited by islands of tables that are used by everyone. Some people prefer to have a fixed place, but for those who prefer to go to the office only sometimes, while mostly working from home, there are always clear tables to choose.
The focus on comfort is felt in every detail, from the decoration to the materials. For sound comfort, materials such as carpet for the floor or soundproofing panels were used. The rectangular panels on the tables or hanging, serve simultaneously as soundproof, decoration and space dividers.
Ergonomic equipment and furniture are the option, and collaborators can chose from using high tables that can be adjusted to their height, or using the chairs or more relaxed armchairs.
Each floor has a color — blue or green — that complements the white and gray tones chosen to run throughout the office. These colors are seen in all the decoration details, furniture and carpets.
As a more relaxed and comfortable work area, a special corridor was created on one of the floors, connecting and allowing circulation between two areas of an open space. With the motto of doing good, well done! This space takes care of creating the ideal conditions to make that happen. With comfortable sofas, armchairs and poufs, that invite different work formats. For moments of focus or for brainstorming moments where you can write key ideas on the white wall with vinyl white board.
Meeting Rooms
The meeting rooms are integrated in the open space. Framed by double glass walls, they maintain communication with all other spaces. Everyone can easily see when a room is available for use, and most important can greet and smile to a colleague.
There are rooms with different dimensions. For meetings with larger teams of eight people, or rooms with space for four or two people for a quicker meeting or making a call with clients. All rooms are equipped and furnished to provide the greatest comfort
One of the main missions at Doutor Finanças, is contributing towards more financial literacy. This mission is so close to their heart, that having spaces to receive people, share information and have training sessions. The auditorium can accommodate 40 people, with different configurations of space. It has a connection to a training room, and a library space, which is growing, and has books about financial literacy for people of all ages.
To get into the skin of a financial doctor, learn and play, people are invited to dress the hanging white coats, and children invited to flip through the book and be educated from a very young age.
Behind the auditorium is a video and audio recording studio. Here the content that is created and produced at Doutor Finanças is recorded, and regularly offered to everyone on the company’s website.
Get together area
The kitchen and eating area is multifunctional, used also a meeting point. In the kitchen people have everything needed to heat the meals they bring from home, and sit together for the various meal or snack moments. At the larger tables or siting by the windowsill with the view to the outdoor terrace. These are the perfect places for small gatherings and relaxing moments.
When people matter, game tables and fun breaks matter too. Because collaborators have many talents and music is one of them, there are musical instruments used for jam sessions. This is per excellence the meeting point in the office.
The other meeting points, are generated around the Bloco, cultural and sports group of collaborators who get together for activities such as paddle tennis, dance, and futsal. There is also a massage and manicure room for those who need it, because taking care of well-being has to be a priority.
