This week, Sam Altman (OpenAI), Christina Montgomery (IBM), and Gary Marcus (an AI expert) spoke at the U.S. Congress regarding AI, with regulations being an important topic. The EU will have a vote on the AI Act in mid-June. AI is on every government’s agenda

  • Google Colab will get an AI boost, and apparently, it will be free for all. Google just announced on its blog that it will be rolling out first in the US.
  • Ai generated Image editing that seems magical with Drag your GAN.
  • META will be try to get big on AI by manufacturing new chips called MTIA “a family of recommendation-specific Meta Training and Inference Accelerator”
  • Android Users will have to wait in line. OpenAI gave IOS a new app for chatgpt.
  • Remember the Samsung ban on ChatGPT for its employees. Apple seems to be following suit. Security leaks are always near when using generative AIs like ChatGPT and Copilot.
  • On a no-AI news, Google is trying to kill passwords with passkeys. If you hate remembering passwords and password managers, this news is for you.
