Apple looks to be working on a family of native AI models that integrate text and visual information: ‘MM1’ AI Model: Methods, Analysis & Insights from Multimodal LLM Pre-training.

They haven’t released anything yet, but this is the best sign that Apple is developing Generative AI solutions.

After the release of Stable Diffusion 3, two weeks ago, Emad Mostaque, the CEO at Stability AI, decided to resign after some controversy, saying he wants to pursue decentralized AI.

Last week was the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC), and the announcements are vast. The cherry pie of the event was the release of Blackwell, a new generation of GPUs (B200) dedicated to AI training.

Through the CHIPS and Science Act, last week, the US Department of Commerce announced that they will be funding Intel Corporation directly with $20B to advance commercial semiconductor manufacturing projects in the US.
