The “Flex Compiler Shell Daemon” now works on Mac OS X”

Posted by Leo Soto on March 13th, 2011.

As an open source developer, it always make you happy when someone finds your code useful for his needs. Specially with those small utilities you develop for personal use and post in the wild “just in case”.

So today I’m happy that a developer found the “Flex compiler shell daemon” useful, in principle. Then not-so-useful because it didn’t work for him. And then useful again because he patched it and submitted the fixes. More over, he wants to contribute directly to the repository :)

End result so far: fcshd.py now should work for everyone using OS X.

Yay for opensource surprises!
