This morning on NPR there was much consternation on Trump’s suggestion that the 2016 election is rigged. They admitted that Trump is likely talking about the primary process, the commission on presidential debates, and the media being in the bag for Hillary. Their point was that even “suggesting” that our elections might be rigged was dangerous to our democracy. Everyone on the panel agreed — but then the conversation shifted to Russia.

The panel on NPR began discussing the possibility that Russia would actually rig our voting machines. They agreed that this eventuality was possible and would be the only way Donald Trump could be elected. Seriously? One minute earlier the panel agreed that even the “suggestion” of a rigged election was dangerous — and the next minute they’re suggesting that our election might be rigged by the Russians. Seriously?

I thought everyone on NPR was supposed to be smart. Maybe they are just dishonest…
